Hello again and Happy Sunday!!! The weekend flew by as it always does for me. The Tessitura Network is looking for a Front-End Web Developer who will join the Web Services team to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer, clients, and developers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Front End Web Developer


Develop new user-facing features
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Build responsive based templates & components

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery
Knowledge of Responsive best practices and third party libraries (bootstrap, foundation)
Basic understanding of one of the following: AngularJS, ReactJS or knockoutJS
Basic Understanding of RESTful Web Services

Network Developer


Tessitura Network is the global leader in arts and cultural CRM software and services. Our software powers the back office and online presence of hundreds of the world’s major arts organizations. The Tessitura Network Development team is currently in the midst of our Next Generation project where we are re-architecting the software to allow it to meet the needs of our members for the future. Currently we use a mix of C# MVC-based web services and Powerbuilder Windows client technologies. We also work with Android Studio, ASP.NET MVC Web Applications, JavaScript, Angular JS and SQL Server. We are looking for a member to contribute to our software team.

Position Responsibilities:

Work with the team that is building our industry leading software
Participate in planning sessions for all software development efforts
Some off-hours work will be required for code administration and international client support
Some travel will be required for team and company meetings

Proven competency with software development best practices
Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with C#, Android Mobile, Javascript, or Powerbuilder desired; willingness to learn new technologies
Tessitura experience a plus; background in arts/cultural sector a plus
Self-motivated; ability to work efficiently from home in a virtual office environment
Demonstrated strong initiative and ability to assume additional responsibilities
Ability to work closely with others in a very strong team-focused structure

Growth Marketer
